What is Graffiti ?

YOU KNOW WHAT IS GRAFFITI ?

Sometimes I feel like want to do so art in wall, and also I have some experience done drawing and painting in school wall (mural) but it is that same art in wall and Graffiti ?

Finally, I find out that my guessing is wrong, if the person is so interested in painting on buildings and other property, they should do it on paper and murals. Then I would call it art. Doing something illegal should not be called artistic and beautiful in any way, shape or form. Yes, this kind of art it’s illegal. Everything beautiful should be right.

In modern times, paint (particularly spray paint) and marker pens have become the most commonly used graffiti materials. In most countries, marking or painting property without the property owner's consent is considered defacement and vandalism, which is a punishable crime.

Graffiti is vandalism and destruction of other people's property. Someone may like graffiti and consider it an art form and they try to use the definition of art to excuse it. Most graffiti is done without the consent or permission of the owner of which the graffiti appears on.

Sample : This art is Graffiti art from Brazil , but when I saw this  what I learn in Visual communication ......   looks like Ambiguous !!!! .So many information in one picture .

There are also a large number of graffiti influences in Southeast Asian countries that mostly come from modern Western culture, such as Malaysia, where graffiti has long been a common sight in Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur.

Sample picture : A graffiti artist paints a art in all street tribute to the passengers of Malaysia Airlines flight(MH370).

Sample :Graffiti art in New York City Train

I ‘m so happy our country has begun hosting a street art to encourage all generations and people from all walks of life to enjoy and encourage Malaysian street culture as mostly in Pasar Seni and Goverment should give more encourage and opportunity Graffiti artist to do the graffiti art in train KTM, LRT and Monorel for looking forward  our next artistic country and also attract by tourists.
